Tarot Reading ~ July to September 2025

Happy Summer Season! Here are your predictions for the three coming months:

July

July invites us into the heart of our relationships, not just the romantic ones, but every bond that mirrors back who we are, what we fear, and what we deeply desire. With the Two of Cups, this month opens with a focus on connection: intimacy, union, trust, and the beauty of seeing and being seen. There may be meaningful partnerships deepening, conversations blooming, or moments of genuine resonance showing us what’s possible when we open ourselves vulnerably.

But then comes The Devil, not as punishment, but as clarity. This card is a sacred mirror, showing us where love slips into attachment, where desire turns into dependency, or where connection begins to cost us our freedom. This could mean addictive patterns resurfacing in relationships, control dynamics being exposed, or even the realisation that we’ve been handing our power to someone or something in exchange for validation, comfort, or the illusion of certainty.

The beauty of this spread is in its progression. With Judgment arriving at the end, we’re given a clear choice: to remain entangled in what keeps us small… or to rise. July is a month of spiritual wake-up calls: an opportunity to see our relationship patterns through new eyes and break free from what no longer aligns with our evolution. This doesn’t mean all connections must end, but it does mean that anything built on fear, guilt, or self-abandonment will need to be transmuted if it’s to last.

For many, this will be a month of emotional reckoning, but also redemption. If we’re willing to look honestly at where we’ve been keeping ourselves stuck (especially in love, commitments, or how we relate to power), we’ll find that the door to freedom has been open all along.

July asks: Are you ready to walk through it?

Reflection Prompts:

  • Where in my relationships am I choosing comfort over truth?
  • What habits or emotional patterns am I ready to release?
  • If I fully trusted my worth, how would I show up differently in love and connection?

Affirmation: “I choose connection without control. I choose truth over comfort. I rise, not in reaction, but in remembrance of who I really am.”

August

August arrives with an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and ground into your emotional centre. This is a month of soulful integration, not action for the sake of doing, but clarity for the sake of becoming.

The Hermit encourages you to step back from noise, comparison, or external pressure. Whether that means time offline, a quiet retreat, or simply space to hear your own thoughts; it’s time to return to your own rhythm. Your intuition has been whispering. Give it the space to be heard.

The Nine of Pentacles reminds you how far you’ve come. This is a card of self-sufficiency, grace, and personal fulfilment. It encourages you to enjoy the garden you’ve been growing, to let yourself feel proud, rooted, and whole, even if you’re still “in progress.” There’s deep confidence in knowing you don’t need to rush or perform for anyone else.

The King of Cups closes the message with wisdom: let your emotions guide you, not rule you. Be the calm in the storm. This month rewards emotional mastery, maturity, and softness. Lead with empathy, but protect your peace.

Reflection Prompts:

  • What does my inner self need more of right now, and less of?
  • Where have I been outsourcing my worth or decisions?
  • What emotional habits am I ready to soften, release, or mature?

Affirmation: “I trust my inner wisdom. I lead with calm and compassion. I am enough, as I am.”

September

September opens a new door, one that begins with a question:
Are you ready to move forward from the version of yourself that was still waiting?

The Two of Wands calls you to step into expanded possibility. There may be decisions to make, maybe about a creative project, a new direction, a bold yes to something unknown. You’re standing between what has been and what could be. The past isn’t a mistake. It’s the launch pad.

Then comes The Fool, reminding you that you don’t need to know the entire path to begin. You just need to trust the yes in your body and the whisper in your heart. This card brings freedom, beginner’s mind, and the invitation to follow what feels aligned, even if it doesn’t yet make logical sense. Just take the first step. The rest will meet you.

The Queen of Cups softens the fire of movement with water, reminding you that how you move is just as important as where you’re going. Lead with your heart. Let your emotional sensitivity be a strength, not a burden. Stay grounded in self-compassion as you stretch into the unknown.

Reflection Prompts:

  • What future have I quietly been longing for?
  • What am I ready to leap into, even without guarantees?
  • How can I support my emotional body as I expand?

Affirmation:  “I lead with vision and trust. I leap with love. I honour the voice of my heart.”
