Healing Drink Recipe

We have asked experimental food studio: Salty Studio, to share with us a great drink recipe using your adaptogen (Reishi or Lion’s Mane) that you can find in your Winter Box!



  • 1 tbsp loose leaf rooibos tea
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 date, pitted
  • 1 cardamom pod
  • 1 teaspoon cashew butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nature’s Antidote Reishi or Lion’s Mane
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup boiling water

How to prepare

Steep the tea in 1 cup boiling water for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat up the milk in a small saucepan until just about simmering. Strain the tea and add to a blender with the warm almond milk and the remaining ingredients. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds then strain. Serve hot or cool down to room temperature then place in the fridge for a refreshing drink.
