We are so happy to have luxurious organic skincare & aromatherapy brand: Aura Organics, which is part of our coming Summer Box! We have interviewed her lovely founder Danielle.
Who are you, where are you from and where in the world are you now?
My name is Danielle a former beauty therapist and now founder or Aura organics cosmetics and and Aura organics spa. We are currently based in London. Inspired by travels where I was introduced to natural alternatives and Ayurvedic facials I decided to develop products for my clients that I felt would truly help their skin.
How often do you take some “me time” and how important it is for you?
I take at least 30 minutes me time everyday. Running two businesses it’s very important for me to take this time to keep up my energy, motivation and creativity. If I don’t take time to reset, I end up feeling overwhelmed by all the things I have to do and end up doing nothing. So it’s better to take the break and get back to it with a clear head.
What are your favourite wellbeing rituals to do at home?
My daily well-being rituals are either a 30 minute meditation or a hot bath with candles, bath salts and oils. I will either use a face mask or do a face massage with some face oil as we hold a lot of tension in our jaw and face which we aren’t always aware of.
What are the benefits of your brand to a person’s wellbeing?
Our brand focuses on well-being from head to toe. We never use fragrance in our products but instead we focus on carefully crafted aromatherapy blends to help relax, uplift or energies. At our spa you can enjoy relaxing meditation, yoga and massage.
What does intuition mean to you? And do you follow your intuition often?
I believe intuition is a superpower that when tapped into properly can guide you through life. That’s why meditation is so important as the stress and worries in daily life can easily overwhelming are natural ability to trust our instincts.
